Around the Blog is a weekly post that will feature my top five posts I’ve read during that week. It’s my way of appreciating other bloggers’ content and to share the love for the chosen posts and bloggers with my followers in the hope they’ll love them as much as I do.
Here are my favourite posts of this week…
Favorite Literary Characters of All Time by Bridget @Bridget and Books: I love reading about everyone else’s favourite characters (and books) because sometimes I learn about characters and books I’d never heard of. Sometimes they lead me to read the book that was featured and that book becomes a favourite of mine too. I just love when that happens.
Summer Movies Reviews by Tang Tran @Bookidote: I’m not sure if you know this, but I love movies. I love them almost as much as books (and that’s saying something). I go to the movies regularly and I really enjoy reading movie reviews. Both Tang and Lashaan are excellent at reviewing movies and this post by Tan is no exception. Feeling like going to the movies? Read these reviews first and choose what you’d like!
ARC Bookish Review: A Change is Gonna Come by Various by Nisha @Bookish at Heart: I’ve seen this book all over Twitter and Instagram. It’s “an anthology of stories and poetry from BAME writers on the theme of change”. Go read this review and discover why this is a highly important book everyone should read!
Asexuality & Tash Hearts Tolstoy by Sarah @WrittenWordWorlds: in which Sarah talks about the importance of representation for every identity and orientation. She also discusses a book with ace rep, Tash Hearts Tolstoy. This book has been on my TBR for a while and I’m very excited to read it.
Book Looks: They Both at the End – Adam Silvera by Reg @SheLatitude: I love all of Reg’s Book Looks. These posts are so original and so much fun. I’m picking this one because, duh, it’s about one of my most anticipated book of 2017.
That’s it for this week…
But hold on! Don’t click away just yet.
I’m looking for new blogs to follow. In the spirit of appreciating other bloggers, I want to ask you not to leave a link to your own blog but a link to your favourite bloggers or bloggers you think deserve a shout-out.
Thank you and until next time.
